Just started using the shampoo and conditioner combo in December (2024) and less than a month later I’m already seeing positive results in the form of healthier, stronger hair.

Smells great.

The scent is light and isn't like main stream shampoo's where the scent is strong. It's light and just enough. My hair feels smooth especially paired with the conditioners.

Great Scent

I've alwasy struggled with shampoo, some dry out my scalp too much some give me swamp head and you feel that residue the minute you get out of the shower. HWG products, especially the shampoo just work, they keep you clean don't mess with your skin or scalp and my lady loves the way my hair smells. In a world of BS mens care products, support a small American business that just makes good prodcuts, that work. Highly reccomend - thanks for making the best stuff HWG!

Lightly scented and great wash

Great product!

While I do miss the older packaging, this is still a great product. I use an incredibly strong but water-soluble wax (but let’s be real, you can never really get that kind of stuff out with JUST water) in my hair, and this shampoo has no issue getting it all out. Paired with the conditioner, it has kept my hair shiny and healthy for a year straight despite nearly daily use of a hairdryer and product.

What means more to me than the quality of the product is the quality of customer service. At the time of my purchase, there was an error where my cart gave one price, but when I went to pay it was about $17 more than previously shown. I took a screen shot, emailed customer service, and within 1-2 hours they had reached back out, confirmed the products in my order, and emailed me an invoice with the corrected price. They were as fast as they were helpful, and service like that is what will keep me coming back.

In all honest , it smells amazing !in the natural ingredients 👍is definitely a plus to begin with. But unfortunately once I rinse it off it leaves my hair very stiff and dry. Not sure why. Immediately I would have to use the conditioner not a big fan of using conditioner every time I wash my hair.but the smell plus natural ingredients one could never go wrong.

Great product for my hair and I love the wat it smells and feels.

Smell is great, product seems solid. Package doesn’t close, leaks, and product is hard to squeeze out. Just use the conditioner package for shampoo too.

Miss old packaging

This used to come in a bottle. Product comes out too fast from this container. Plus shipping took forever. Didn’t ship until I emailed to ask where my product was. Almost a month before I got it.

The HWG shampoo gives a clean feel all day. What I like is it adds body to my gray hair which help it stay in place

They sent the refill version. The pick showed the bottle. Emailed customer service a week ago and no response.

Honestly feels healthier and stronger. I dig the smell. It’s my go to now.

I love how my hair feels after using this shampoo! I feel that it is cleaner… that there must be residues my other shampoos have left behind during the rinsing out process.

Also, for the review about it smelling too strong, I feel that it doesn’t smell strong enough overall. I don’t buy shampoos for the scent though!

The shampoo is excellent, I'm on my second refill bag if that tells you anything. I always wonder is the natural products will do as well as their traditional counterparts and I have 0 complaints about the shampoo. My hair feels great, and know I'm not putting harsh chemicals on my aging hair line is nice.
